Student Accident Insurance - Additional Options

1) Parents can elect to purchase the 24-Hour Extended Coverage Accident Insurance Plan.  The 24 Hour Plan provides additional protection for students seven days a week, while students are at school or home, on the weekends, during holidays and vacation periods and the 2011 summer months, anywhere in the USA, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.  Parents have the option to purchase the 24 Hour Extended Coverage Plan for eligible students for a one time cost of $38.00 per student.  (The $38 is not a monthly cost; One payment of $38.00 covers your child for up to one year).

2) Parents can elect to purchase an optional school time plan to protect students while they are attending regular school classes and other Marion County School sponsored activities directly supervised by a Marion County employee. Coverage will extend to summer school classes offered for public school educational credit.  The cost of the ‘School Time Plan’ is $7.00 for the 2010-2011 school term.
